What you don't know can hurt you
Spaces vulnerable to the devil
September 25, 2024
Hi All,

What you don’t know
The devil can only try to exert his deceiving, false authority in the spaces of what you don’t know.
"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge" (Hosea 4.6 NASB).
Jesus said, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free” (John 8.31-32 NASB).
Then he said, "So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (v 36).
Progressively knowing Jesus and his truth leads to freedom from the lying, counterfeit authority of the devil …
A key is to eliminate the dark spaces of what we don’t know. That’s where the devil can traffic with his lying, false authority and hurt you.
Holy Spirit, reveal Jesus to me more and more. Lead me into all truth. I thank you, Jesus, that you have totally defeated the devil already. I will walk in your light and truth. Amen.
📱 Trump's close call: Is God speaking to Americans? with Keith Guinta (Ep 319)
Keith Guinta asks a shocking question: Is God trying to send a message to Americans through the assassination attempt on Donald Trump? Guinta suggests we look at the news differently ... instead of seeing things only through a political point of view, what if we try to perceive them with higher meaning?

Higher thinking
Here and now. Eternal life is not something way out there in outer space somewhere that hopefully starts when you die. It begins the moment we trust Christ as a HERE and NOW reality. We have to lean into this with Bible study and prayer.
Underdog scenario. “It may be that the Lord will work for us, for nothing can hinder the Lord from saving by many or by few” (1Samuel 14.6 ESV). Sometimes the Lord saves by many. Often, he saves by few. Never undervalue what seems like the “underdog” scenario with God. As with Jonathan and his armor-bearer, nothing hinders the Lord.

Eternity is now in session
Is it time to reawaken our understanding of what Jesus really taught about salvation? Have we missed something vital?
Eternal life in the individual does not begin after death, but at the point where God touches the individual with redeeming grace and draws them into a life interactive with himself and his kingdom.
