The Proximity Effect

“Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.” — James 4:8 (NKJV)

As we move toward God, He moves toward us. Nearness wins.

But there’s more: draw near to the right people, and they’ll draw near to you too. God’s design is always relational. His ethic? Love Him with everything. And love others well. (Matt. 22:37–39)

We’re made for koinonia—that deep, Spirit-infused fellowship with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit … and with one another. When we live in this divine-and-human fabric, power flows. Things ignite. The sizzle comes. Life and mission work.

Take bold steps closer—upward and outward. Nearness is blessing.

JULY 20 – JULY 26, 2025 — Father, I resolve to draw near to You—and to the Son and Holy Spirit. I receive Your nearness. I also resolve to draw near to the right people. Knit it all together, Holy Spirit. I receive Your blessing on this. Amen.
