Hey there, Friend —

It’s the Smart Edit. There’s something primal in you about expansion… “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue (cultivate) it; have dominion…” (Genesis 1:28 NKJV).

In Christ, you’re blessed to expand!
Brian

Each week we feature a Kingdom of Jesus Dynamic …

Staked for Expansion

Every increase from God carries a hidden requirement: the heart-structure and strength to sustain it.

“Enlarge the place of your tent… strengthen your stakes.” — Isaiah 54:2

Expansion sounds exciting. More influence, more clarity, more opportunity. But in the Kingdom, enlargement is not a mystical blessing. It’s connected to your heart and mind structure. A bigger tent demands stronger stakes and support.

Hidden in the tent imagery of Isaiah 54 is a principle we often overlook: when God stretches your capacity, he also strengthens your framework. Think in terms of tent stake revelation and understanding—those core, load-bearing truths that hold everything up.

Enlarge the place of your tent,
and let the curtains of your habitations be stretched out;
do not hold back; lengthen your cords
and strengthen your stakes.

Isaiah 54:2 ESV

These are not average, even “Churchy” insights. They are the deep convictions that come from the King. They stabilize and strengthen your life: who God is, who you are in Christ, how His Kingdom operates. And there’s more …

New, fresh understanding is often necessary. Like understanding what it really means to be a daughter or son of God.

Everything is truly created and elevated on the God-kind-of-love. Love just works.

Deeply internalizing the thoughts and words of Jesus. And then releasing them in your words and actions.

Without these sorts of growth edges, lasting expansion becomes unworkable. The Father will not let you collapse under the weight of what he wants to give you.

It’s really about emerging Christlikeness in us.

God’s pattern is clear. He doesn’t just lengthen cords (reach); He reinforces what’s unseen. He builds into you the kind of revelation and walking-it-out that can sustain what he’s bringing through you.

So if you sense a stretching season, don’t just ask for more. Ask for stronger stakes. Bigger tent poles. Internals correlate to externals.

Pray for revelation that orders your thinking, anchors your identity, and carries weight. The future God has in mind for you isn’t just bigger… it’s heavier with purpose.

And he is committed to making sure your structure can hold it.

Classical Education Is Making a Comeback

Education literally means to evoke calling. Jesus is the Master Educator: “Come to me… learn from me” (end of Matthew 11). — Brian

Classical education is making a quiet comeback in American homes and classrooms, reviving a method rooted in ancient Greece and Rome. Centered on grammar, logic, and rhetoric, it teaches students how to learn rather than simply what to memorize.

The appeal is clear: confident communication, critical thinking, and deep understanding. Students memorize history through music, engage in Socratic discussions, and read classic literature cover to cover.

Supporters say it reflects how America’s founders were educated—trained in logic, debate, and language from an early age.

Once common in early American life, classical learning faded in the 20th century but is now reemerging, especially among Christian families seeking a more formative approach to education.

Strengthen your stakes

The future God has in mind for you isn’t just bigger… it’s heavier with purpose. The Father is committed to making sure your heart and mind can hold it.

God and you are powerful together.

Appreciate you.
