WORD WEALTH 🪙
Conditional promise: you will flourish

“In His law he meditates day and night … and whatever he does shall PROSPER” (Psalm 1.2-3 NKJV). Prosper in Ps 1.3 is the Hebrew word "צָלַח" (tsalach). It’s a Hebrew root word that means to push forward, advance, to progress, succeed. It also means to be profitable. In this context, it’s the idea of flourishing or thriving.

Holy Spirit, lead me in meditating on your Word at least twice a day (14 times per week). I know that your thoughts, your words push me forward in the will of God. I will flourish and be profitable in the Kingdom of God. Thank you. Amen.

WORD WEALTH 🪙
The Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee of more to come

"Parakletos" in New Testament Greek is a business term that means earnest money. It’s the first installment which guarantees full possession.

“He has identified us as his own by placing the Holy Spirit in our hearts as the first installment of everything he will give us” (2 Corinthians 1.22 NLT).

Our experience with the Holy Spirit as a Christ-follower is the pledge of our future experience in the New Heavens & New Earth. We can “taste the good word of God and the powers of the age to come”—see Hebrews 6.4-5.

Let’s pray and affirm … "Father and Jesus … thank you for sending the Holy Spirit to live within us. We receive your earnest, your guarantee of everything that you will give us Now, during the Millennium, and in the New Heavens & New Earth. Help us to sample the powers of the Age to Come in our NOW. Amen.”

WORD WEALTH 🪙
Holy Spirit—helper, advocate, counselor

"Parakletos" in New Testament Greek means "called to one’s side," signifying a helper, advocate, or counselor. In nonbiblical literature, it refers to an attorney advocating in court on someone else's behalf.

Jesus says to us, the Parakletos is the Holy Spirit: "When the Advocate (Gk., Parakletos) comes, whom I will send to you from the Father—the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father—he will testify about me" (John 15:26 NIV).

Let’s pray and affirm … "Jesus, thank you for sending us the Spirit of Truth, our helper, advocate, and counselor. We receive you Holy Spirit. We will live and move in tandem with you.”

WORD WEALTH 🪙
Majesty — live with royal bearing

Out-of-the-ordinary things were happening via Jesus’ influence—”And they were all amazed at the majesty of God” (Luke 9.43 NKJV). “Majesty” is the Greek word megaleiotes. It means grandeur, glory, splendor, superbness, greatness. If you are born again, you have the royal anointing of Christ within you. We can live and act with Kingdom bearing.

Father, I thank you for the royal anointing of Christ. Holy Spirit, lead me to live and act with a Kingdom bearing that is worthy of Christ’s Call.

WORD WEALTH 🪙
Set apart to Christ and his kingdom

What does it mean to be “sanctified?”

Hagiadzo (Gk., hag-ee-ad-zoe) in the New Testament means to hallow, set apart, dedicate, consecrate. It is a state of holiness, opposite of koinon which means unclean or common.

It's a higher way of living for the Christ-follower, brought about by the Holy Spirit. We're called out from the world’s system and fully dedicated to God's kingdom.

“May the God of peace himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Thessalonians 5.23 NKJV).

Lord, sanctify me in your truth. May I increasingly be conformed to your nature. Let your Spirit rest upon me. Fill me with your presence and power. Thank you. Amen.
