Each week we feature a Kingdom Dynamic …
Praise ➡ discern ➡ fight. In that order.
God doesn't leave His people to move on their own.
There are precedents and protocols in the Old Testament that find their ultimate fulfillment in Christ and the New Covenant — it can be our experience today!
In the wilderness, God gave Israel a precise order of march. On the east side of the Tabernacle camped three tribes: Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun.
When it was time to break camp and move, Judah went first. Issachar followed. Zebulun came third (see Numbers 2:3-9, NKJV).
This wasn't random. Each tribe carried a distinct anointing.
Judah led with praise. The name means "praise," and Judah's blessing marked them as the tribe from which worship and kingship would flow.
Issachar excelled in prophetic discernment. Scripture later calls them men who "had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do" (1 Chronicles 12:32, NKJV).
Zebulun excelled in battle. They were skilled, disciplined, primed for war. “Of Zebulun there were fifty thousand who went out to battle, expert in war with all weapons of war, stouthearted men who could keep ranks” (1 Chronicles 12:33 NKJV).
Praise 1st. Discernment 2nd. Warfare 3rd.
That's not just a wilderness protocol. It's a Kingdom sequence for how we initiate and move in faith today.
Before you fight, you praise. Before you strike, you discern the moment. Only then do you engage in warfare and action.
❗ Note: the Adversary will do his best to keep you ignorant of this flow. If you begin to understand it, he will then try to distract you and get you to be inconsistent with it. Stay in the flow of how God works.
Tempted to skip a step? The order will break down. You won’t quite get where you’re meant to be. (God is a God of restoration.)
Warfare without discernment is just clatter. Discernment without praise loses its focus (Christ as King) and royal authority. Praise without follow-through won’t authentically advance your life and calling.
Where in your life right now do you need to reset the order?
A good question: what’s on the other side of this Kingdom order? A new season from God (desperately needed)? Showing the excellencies of God in one of 3 main life domains: work and finance, relational life, wellness? What’s pending from HPOV — heaven’s point of view?
Maybe it's a decision at work. A relationship. A calling you've been circling for months.
Lead with praise. ➡
Follow with discernment. ➡
Then fight and move. 💥
As you quest in the right order… you take the ground that King Jesus wants you to possess.
Jesus, Commander of the Faith, I’m yours to command. I worship you. I receive your mind. I advance in the good fight of faith.

Higher thoughts
Don’t manage trauma: Trauma comes in many shapes in this busted world. BC (before Christ) and even AC (after Christ). You can almost have a soul tie with trauma. Break up with it and give it to Jesus and be healed. Enlist the Holy Spirit to lead you. Engage the Body of Christ for support.
Louder: The crowd says be silent (see Mark 10:48-52) ➡ Blind Bartimaeus cries out all the more ➡ Jesus asks, “What do you want me to do for you?” The noise of everything/everyone around you doesn't quench passionate faith. It can intensify it.
Opportune season: New Testament words. Chronos time ticks (ordinary time). The kairos season (opportune time) breaks in with opportunity (Ephesians 5:15-17). The alert and ready make the most of what the Father is offering. Your everyday clock won’t announce the opportunity… discernment will.

Smart: Post-Meal Walks Help Your Muscles Clear Blood Sugar
Your muscles do more after a meal than you think.
Contraction pulls glucose straight out of your bloodstream into muscle cells — often without insulin's help.
A systematic review in Sports Medicine confirms: walking soon after eating beats exercising beforehand or waiting it out. Timing beats intensity.
Just a 20-minute walk was enough. That evening stroll isn't just for digestion. It's blood sugar control, happening in real time.
And of course blood sugar control helps to maintain a healthy weight.
Brian — I need to get more consistent, but I try to do this after dinner. I am consistent with walking early in the morning. Consistency compounds the benefits. And you can listen to the Jesus Smart X podcast as you walk!
Appreciate you.
