From Weakness to Power — Overcoming Your Kryptonite

We all have it. That one weakness that pulls on us. Kryptonite.

For Superman, kryptonite drains strength, leaves him vulnerable, and can even kill. For us, sin and temptation do the same.

God doesn’t tempt us (see James 1), but he allows trials to surface what’s in our hearts.

The Holy Spirit did lead Jesus into the wilderness to be tempted. But he returned in the power of the Spirit.

That’s the purpose … reveal what’s in our hearts, we learn to overcome with grace, and then we’re empowered at a new level.

So don’t be rocked by temptation.

Temptation always has an exit door (see 1 Cor. 10.13). Take it. Resist, remain faithful, and you step into God’s highest blessing.

Paul knew it: “My grace is sufficient, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Cor. 12.9)

Don’t let your kryptonite weaken your life … or ruin your eternity. Let it drive you into His strength.
