As you carefully read the Scriptures, notice the things that awaken pleasure in the heart of Father God …
Like the marginalized, the unnoticed. Widows. Orphans. Integrity in relationships.
Real worship moves his heart (not a tiny, pony pop show).
See his care for the poor, his compassion for prisoners, his pursuit of the lost.
As we engage what moves God’s heart, we experience his delight and presence in deeper ways. “Come near to God and he will come near to you” (James 4.8 NIV).
It’s like a daughter or son catching their father’s eye, sensing what will bring him pleasure, and desiring nothing more than to bring Him joy.
