Picture this: me floating down a "lazy river" at a water park recently. It got me thinking: in Ephesians 4.23, Paul tells us to be “renewed in the spirit of our mind." Just like the banks shape and guide a river, a renewed mind contours our life for miracles. We could say it another way too — miracles of the Kingdom are downstream from a renewed mind. Float on, Christ-follower.

Hearing from you matters!

KINGDOM DYNAMIC
Born again for what?

Our destiny as Christ-followers isn't just about going to heaven someday.

We'll be active in Christ's enterprising work in the New Heavens and New Earth. The Heavenly City is coming to a renewed earth.

But it starts when we’re born again in Christ (see John 3:1-8). Our life now is a seed. Does this resonate with you?

I want to think and pray in these categories …

  1. The Father has unique plans for me which he has prepared in advance. “We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works” (Ephesians 2.10 NKJV).

  2. As I’m recreated in Christ, I’m connected to those unique plans (2 Corinthians 5.17).

  3. I get to walk them out with Christ-Energy.

And this too … we need to “waste” ourselves on the affection of Christ as a priority. Like Mary in John 12.1-8.

It’s from this reservoir at the feet of Jesus — pouring everything on him — that we rise to accurately and fruitfully do those things he has prepared for us to do.

Higher thoughts

Smart Edit newsletter

Higher yield: We yield our way into greater faith. It's about surrendering more to God and embracing his true nature. Jesus says, “Have faith in God.”

Holy positioning: Prioritize personal consecration to position yourself with what God is doing right now. We're seeing widespread judgment and exposure.

The times: Like the sons of Issachar in the Old Testament, learn to discern and read the times. The Holy Spirit can guide you in understanding and practical action.

STELLAR QUOTE
What is your life potential?

How many thoughts does God have about you? How many horizons does he see for you? Pray into your life potential. Ask Father God about all the possibilities.

Dr. Charles F. Stanley was the senior pastor of First Baptist Church Atlanta for more than fifty years. He was also the founder of In Touch Ministries and a New York Times best-selling author.

Your potential is the sum of all the possibilities God has for your life.

What they say …

😱 When we (or a nation) insist on running afoul of God's design and plan, it’s like taking a rake, hoe, and shovel to the face over and over and over and over again … ad nauseam.

Appreciate you
