Sow when it hurts ➡️ reap in joy
Feeling the weight of duress, stress, the press? These sorts of times come around — God can use them for good in alignment with his purpose and our love for him (Romans 8.26-28).
Overlook this moment, this hour. 🌱 KEEP SOWING to reap in joy. 🌱
Gratitude, prayers in the dark, extending kindness, investing in something or someone, serving others. Sowing seeds of deep joy, radical obedience, bold risk-taking, initiating fresh ventures, and more.
Here’s the challenge from Psalm 126.4-6:
“Bring back our captivity, O Lord, as the streams in the South. Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed (lit. a bag of seed for sowing), shall DOUBTLESS COME AGAIN with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves (harvest) with him” (NKJV).
Just like the Israelis were challenged as they transitioned from Babylonian exile to their Homeland — it’s counterintuitive for you, too, to sow in a down time. Embrace the precedent of faith. You’re investing in the future.
Reach for your bag of seed. It’s the R.O.I. pathway to joy … a vibrant Faithstyle will glean restoration dividends.
