Press through the mundane middle
Starting something new is always thrilling! Stretching for the finish line is even more rewarding:
"Better is the end of a thing than its beginning; and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit" (Ecclesiastes 7:8 ESV).
But it's in the middle where success or failure is determined. Keep your enthusiasm high. The word "enthusiasm" has Greek roots meaning "inspired by God."
🔥 God loves fire. He is fire … “Our God is a consuming fire” (Hebrews 12.29). Have a burning passion. Be zealous. Fervent.
Commit wholeheartedly (all your heart) — give 10X effort to what you desire or what you believe should happen.
