WORD OF THE KINGDOM
Receive & release the life of Christ

In our last email — Transform your everyday with Rezz Reality — we daylighted the reality that the Resurrection is already on since the resurrection of Christ.

He's here with us in our dying present, regenerating things and giving us samples of what the future holds. Bits of the Millennium and the New Heavens and New Earth dripping into Our Now.

Healing, regeneration, deliverance, displacing dark powers, resurrection. Jesus’ breath can reach every area of life. All as a witness of his Complete Kingdom on the horizon!

We keep questing. More can always be said. But here are a few thoughts …

Jesus gives the Spirit without limit

If I’m born again, the Holy Spirit lives within me. True. But the Holy Spirit can fill me in greater measure … “For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God; for He gives the Spirit without measure” (John 3.34). There is no ceiling.

I can seek fresh in-fillings of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus. The Greek tense in Ephesians 5.18 is to be continuously and constantly filled with the Spirit. It starts at a point in time and continues as a process in our walk with Christ.

The Word is prime

I want to pursue consistent, fresh intake of the Word of God. God magnifies his Word according to (or above) his name! (Psalm 138.2). Remember, the Holy Spirit inspired the Word to begin with. As we saturate with the Word, we position ourselves to filled with the Spirit in a greater way.

If His Word has this priority with God, and if he really does nothing apart from the agency of his Word, then I should give it prime time and energy in my life! It transforms how we see and think — our worldview. I feel like the Lord softly impressed this to me just some days ago: Be as committed to the Word as God is.

The release of our spirit

The great Chinese Bible teacher, Watchman Nee, wrote of the release of the spirit. He wrote of the crust in our soul life (our psychology) which can limit the release of the Spirit’s potential through us.

The husk of our natural soul life must be broken. The Apostle Paul said it was with his spirit that he served God. I resolve to pursue a course of sanctification and wholeness in my experience.

Am I clenching an incomplete theology?

Early in our Christian experience, we tend to carry the DNA of the denomination or “doctrinal ecosystem” 🤔 which influenced us. If we discover that it’s limiting as we develop in Christ, are we going to stay in that state of belief for our entire life?

Honor everything that is good about your past. But be true to the modeling and words of Jesus. Our supreme allegiance is to him. We should always be growing in the grace and knowledge of the Lord (2 Peter 3.18).

WORD WEALTH
Mighty, inaccessible things can be unlocked

"Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know" (Jeremiah 33.3 NKJV).

Calling out to the Lord holds immense power. God promised an imprisoned Jeremiah that he would answer him. And he would reveal (uncover) great and mighty things he could not otherwise know. Mighty is the Hebrew word batsar. A better translation might be things that are isolated, inaccessible, or fenced off. 🔒️ 

The promise is that God will give you revelational insight by the Holy Spirit to access things. What do you instinctively feel is in your heart from the Father's heart? God can give you the keys. Call. Listen. Let him show you what you don't know. Now take a step and advance in faith.
